Keep Track of Your Small Victories

At the end of every day, make a list of 3-5 things you did successfully. They can be tiny things. The more success you see written down on paper the, more you'll start to realize all the GR8 things you do on a daily basis, boosting your self-esteem.

Make a List of Things You're Good At

Are you great at drawing? Do you make a mean chicken parmesan? Take GR8 care of your dog? Write all of those things down and keep the list handy. Whenever you start feeling bad about yourself, pull out that list.

It will give you a little reminder that you are good at things, and you do have amazing qualities.

Read a Self-Development Book

If you're a bookworm, this tip is for you. No matter what you may be struggling with, there's a book that covers it in the self-help section. There's a book for that.

Not only will reading self-development and self-care books provide you with tools to move past your obstacles, but spending some quiet time to yourself is a form of self-care. With this tip, you'll be killing two birds with one stone.

Spend Time With Loved Ones

Social self-care is important, and when you're struggling with self-love, you need an extra boost of encouragement from friends and family. Even if you're having trouble getting out of the house, block out some time to spend with your significant other, kids, or friends.

Conversely, stay away from toxic people that may be damaging your self-image.

Start Using Positive Affirmations

Positive affirmations are words of encouragement that we repeat to ourselves. They are a way of changing our mindsets, challenging negative thought patterns, and bringing good vibes into our lives.

If you're struggling with self-love, implement a routine of reciting positive affirmations throughout the day.
