Breathing revitalizes you, resets your mind and body, and instantly makes you feel better. Breathing and meditation go hand in hand. Controlling your breathing and practicing mindful breathing while meditating can lead to many benefits, including reducing anxiety, managing cravings, and helping you sleep better.

Whether you’re new to meditation or have been practicing for years, adding more breathing exercises to your repertoire will help you maximize the benefits of both practices.

Of course, as we always say, at GR8NESS we’re not here to say these are the only breathing exercises you should practice. There are hundreds of different styles out there. We only encourage everyone to try new things, practice what feels natural, whatever makes you feel gr8, and what makes you happy. That’s what truly matters in the end.

Before starting, find a calm and quiet space, sit in a comfortable position, any position as long as it feels relaxing to you. Moving on, make a conscious effort to release any tension and adjust your posture, so you feel at ease.
