We all have different personality traits acquired from so many aspects. Where we grew up, our friends, our parents, even the places we’ve worked at shape who we are today. However, some of your most basic behaviors are in your brain. The type of brain you have says more about you than you can think of.

What’s Your Brain Type?
After looking at over 150,000 brain scans, one clinic realized no two brains are alike. However, specific patterns indicated that there are indeed five main brain types that influence who we are. Your brain type dictates how you relate to others, your behavior, and even how you deal with triggers like stress or anxiety.
However, that same study revealed that in total, there could be as many as 16 different brain types. All take into consideration lifestyle, preferences, and more.
The Main 5 Brain Types
For this quiz, we limited the answers to the main five possibilities. The type of brain you have dictates much about who you are and how you go around living your life. Here’s an insight into your mind.
The Type 1 Balanced Brain
This was me, to my shocking surprise. According to the study, those with type 1 brains are more flexible, focused, and emotionally stable. However, when you neglect your diet and healthy habits, you can easily set yourself up for a mental health problem.
Support your brain with: A healthy diet, a thoughtful exercise routine, and vitamin D.
The Type 2 Spontaneous Brain
This would be my partner, for sure. Those who fall under this category are all about adventure and trying new things. You’re likely to get distracted, though, and organization is not your thing. Keep an eye on your drive for adventure. It might make you vulnerable to addiction and ADHD.
Support your brain with: A diet high in protein, antioxidant supplements, and some cardio exercises.
The Type 3 Persistent Brain
You are all about getting things done, your way or the highway. You like having options, but you also love it when you have a set routine that takes you where you want to go. Keep in mind you might be stubborn sometimes, and your behavior can lead to obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Support your brain with: A diet filled with serotonin-rich foods and intense training.
The Type 4 Sensitive Brain
Your emotions are always afloat and ready to have an opinion. You show empathy for the world, including humans and animals alike. You’re an art person, deeply moved by a performance. Hateful comments on social media are not your thing, and you have no issues saying goodbye to toxic people. However, if you’re highly sensitive, you’re more vulnerable to addiction, depression, and mood disorders.
Support your brain with: A diet rich in healthy fats, tons of vitamin D, and emotional, physical activities.
The Type 5 Cautious Brain
You’re always on edge, waiting for the worse to happen. Anxiety is your shadow, and you always have a plan or two for everything. You tend to be very analytical about everything, but this also stops you from trying new things. Your behavior might make you vulnerable to anxiety.
Support your brain with: Steering away from caffeine, alcohol, and sugar, while adding more calming activities like yoga and meditation.
A Word from GR8NESS
Remember that your mind is GR8, no matter what type it is. Working on your mental health is essential, make it a priority, and part of your self-care routine. If, at any point, you believe you might be struggling with a mental disorder, speak up, seek help immediately, and find support among your friends and family.
