Staying angry is rarely necessary. Read that again. Being upset is one thing—perfectly okay and normal. Staying angry? Now, that’s no fun. It’s in how we choose to deal with our anger that can make all the difference. If treated with compassion, insight, and understanding, being angry may serve us well to incite breakthrough.
It is not the anger itself that causes breakthrough, but instead, the need for evolution that comes with surviving uncomfortable feelings.
