Many people find themselves wishing they worked out more but can’t seem to get into it. I am guilty of committing to hitting the gym regularly, only to eventually stop going. This happens to many of us because it’s difficult to find fitness routines we want to stick to.
In other words, we can’t find our fitness style. To dedicate yourself to a routine, you have to have fun doing it. Take the quiz below to find out which fitness style may be right for you.
A Workout for Everyone
Different people have different fitness styles and preferences. The same way people like different foods, types of music, or television shows, everyone has their way of working out. No matter what your style is, there’s a workout for you.
Fitness Style Based on Need
If you’ve recently suffered an injury, or have a health condition that you think may prevent you from getting into a fitness routine. Chances are there’s still a fitness style that’s right for you. Talk to your doctor to see if low-impact exercises like yoga, Tai Chi, or lifting light weights would be beneficial to your health.
Sometimes, people are motivated by others, and participating in a fast-paced group workout is the right way to go. Or, maybe, you prefer to go it alone. Perhaps exercising is where you find your quiet place and peace of mind.
No Workout is the Wrong Workout
No matter what your fitness style is, if you’ve decided you’re ready to get moving and improve your physical health, you’ve already taken the biggest and most important step. What works for one person won’t necessarily work for another.
It’s all about finding a fitness style you love and sticking to it.
