Mental Health

In hearing the buzz of the words “mental health,” it’s common to associate them with a sense of discomfort. Mental health concerns far more than disorders or complications. It is the full picture of how your mind interacts with its surroundings, both internal and external. Your mind works in a multi-dimensional way, cognitively and emotionally.

On any given day, the mind is absorbing, interpreting, and producing information. The way that it’s processed relates directly to the status of your mental health.

Being that the brain affects everything we do, mental health is no different. At GR8NESS, we believe everyone’s mental health journey is different. Here, we’ll open a safe space for you to learn more about mental care.

However, we’re not doctors, so don’t mistake our words for a diagnosis. What we can offer is exposing you to thought-provoking and informational content that you can use to understand the extensive reach of mental health in a more digestible way.

Mental Health & Society

Though mental health exists on an individual scale, observing it from a societal standpoint can reveal insights into ourselves. In the GR8NESS mental health space, you’ll find us grappling with the stigma, how it has evolved, and where it stands in real-time. We live in a transitional time for mental health where it is being highlighted more than ever before.

Society has led to certain patterns in mental health among specific groups of people, and we use this space to look further into what those are. No question is off the table. As mental health evolves, we’re your source for picking apart and understanding the movement and how it pertains to you and those you love and care for.

Breaking Down the Common Conversations

Here, you’ll be able to find insights into mental health as a general conversation. We’ll discuss the meaning of it and the potential ways it affects us. Within the big conversation are the more refined, specific discussions.

Among these is mental health as it pertains to men, common disorders like depression and anxiety, and stress management. Bias is not our thing, so you can expect to interact with the diverse range of approaches to mental health that exist. We believe in an inclusive lens that expands past the idea of disorders and disease. You’ll have access to information that is holistically inclined, as well as the more common, clinical understanding of mental health. Discover the surprising connections between mental health and other aspects of wellness, such as nutrition.

Fundamentally, mental health is a messy topic with a lot of moving parts. It is our goal to present you with the information that you need to make up your mind, find your groove, and take the best care of your mentality that you can.

At GR8NESS, we believe the conversation has just gotten started. We intend to use our platform to facilitate awareness and share the importance of caring for your mind. Struggling with mental health is something many of us must endure, on varying scales, of course. We hope to be a resource you can rely on when you need more than answers, or the sheer comfort of knowledge.

If you have found yourself having a difficult time, know that sustainable recovery is possible. Getting to a place where your mind works with—not against you, is possible. Consider this space a hand to grab hold of in your time of need, as you need.
