Somedays, getting yourself motivated can seem like the most impossible task. Waking up early and conquering the day can be incredibly daunting. When you get in a hole like this, it may feel like you will never be able to dig yourself out. Your mental health should be a priority and there are many ways to help motivate yourself.

If you are having a hard time being an early riser due to your mental health, one way to help motivate yourself is to watch a motivational movie. If you are having a hard time getting yourself motivated, then you are most likely watching TV or movies anyways, so you might as well watch a movie that may actually help you get going. Motivational movies are great for helping to heighten your mental health state.

After you watch these movies, you will feel inspired, and hopefully, feel like you can take on the world.

On the Basis of Sex

This movie is about Supreme Court Justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, or more commonly known as RBG. In the film, RBG fights for gender equality and shows that with dedication and hard work anything is possible. RBG is a role model for all women and watching this movie will definitely make you feel empowered.

Remember the Titans

Even if you don’t like sports movies, you will like this movie. This movie is about a football team in the 1970s that comes together despite facing many challenges. The town in which the movie is set still faces many problems with racism and does not react well when the new head coach of the high school football team is black. In this movie, the coach and the team overcome diversity and win a championship. It is truly motivational and will make you want to go rally a group together and accomplish something great.

Free Solo

This documentary will not only give you some motivation, but it will also keep you at the edge of your seat. Freestyle climber Alex Honnold tries to climb the daunting El Captain in Yosemite National Park completely solo. He doesn’t use ropes, forcing him to rely completely on his own strength and abilities while climbing the 3,000-foot rock formation. This movie demonstrates that with strength and perseverance, anything is possible. Plus, if you’re not motivated from watching this movie, you will at least be awake and out of bed because of how exhilarating it is.

Good Will Hunting

When people think of inspirational or motivational movies, this is most likely one of the first ones that come to mind. This movie has become a classic and if you have not seen it, you should put it at the top of your list. This movie is about finding out who you really are and how you can find your place in life. One of the major themes in this movie is to have faith, not only in yourself but in life as well. This movie will remind you that you have a purpose and to always stay strong no matter the circumstances. If you really need some quality motivation, this is the movie to watch!

Don’t let your mental health overcome you. There are lots of ways in which you can motivate yourself to be an early riser and be more positive. Watching motivational movies is a great way to motivate yourself because it takes very little effort and can have a big result. If you watch any of the movies we listed in this article, you will definitely feel some motivation.
