Generally, people have an idea that processed refers to things like cake, cookies, chips, and all your other road trip faves in question. However, processed foods are everywhere, and sometimes it’s hard to spot them. In some cases, processed foods hide in plain sight with misleading packaging that preys on the general public’s confusion behind labels like “gluten-free,” and “whole-grain.”
