Think of all the times you’ve started something and succeeded. There are probably a few failures in their too. That’s life. To limit those failures, you might want to tap into the power of affirmations.

Fit to Positively Affirm

Even brushing your teeth every day is a new start. Finding a new start in fitness can leave us in need of affirmation. Affirmations can get specific, and we all have our hang-ups—but sometimes we need to be affirmed of one thing: that we can do it.

We all want to know that we can make things happen. Here is your sign, well, six of them, to be exact. Now go out and kill those GR8 fitness goals.

For an Essential Perspective Shift 

When it's time to check up on our bodies, it's easy to get caught up in the expectation that we instantly overlook what our bodies already do. We tend not to realize just how much our bodies do until they slip up, or we expect more. Take a moment to affirm yourself of all the incredible things your body does by the second. Take notice that your eyes can see, your brain is continually calculating, your breath and body temperature self-regulate. All of these things are automatic.

Remind yourself and others that comparison is toxic and that you will not settle for being compared. You're one-of-a-kind with a unique experience, and the act of comparing yourself to another is not only unnecessary but a complete discount of just how valuable you are.

Recognize that your body is your given vessel, and while it does not determine your worth, it does impact how you sail the seas. Empower yourself by choosing to view your vessel as a tool.

Did someone say kickstart? This quote is simple, and perhaps unoriginal, but what it is not lacking in is truth. You are truly unstoppable, and the key is in your hand. You decide where things begin and end.

When it feels like you might never feel as strong as you would like, remember that the strength does not necessarily need to be generated as it lives within you. Your physical strength may be tapped into by fully understanding and using your inner and mental strength.
