Did you know vegetables and fruit follow the seasons too? Yes, when you’re buying fresh produce at your local supermarket or farmer’s market, there are different varieties of produce that are blooming that month. While it’s true we can find juicy oranges all year round, it isn’t true that they’re the same type of oranges. When grown and picked at the peak of their season, this seasonal produce not only delights you with an outstanding flavor, but they also pack additional nutritional value they wouldn’t when picked off-season.
