Pet moms, we see you. Some may say that pet moms are not really moms, but the dictionary disagrees. It mentions protective care and maternal affection, but it doesn’t specify that this affection is for humans only. Whatever you lavish your motherly devotions on, whether dog, cat, rabbit, horse, or hamster, the emotions are real. Love is love.

And the love is returned in spades. Our furkids cannot say in words that they love us, but you can tell by their cuddles, wagging tails, and purring. By the way they nudge you for affection and lie on your chest when you go to bed at night. By the way they bring you a toy to throw or wait by the door to go out.

To all the pet moms out there, we wish you a very furry and Happy Mother’s Day filled with wet noses, wagging tails, and soft purrs.
