Okay, so you’re thinking about trying meditation. Welcome, friend. While meditation is not synonymous with the word miracle, I’d wager a few bucks on the possibility that there are plenty of people out there who make this association. Of course, like most anything else that can improve your life, meditation only works if you do.
Making the Choice: Best Meditation for You
Most people don’t have hours and hours to research and try new methods of meditation, which, if I’m honest, might be something you’ll end up doing anyway when you get hooked.
That being said, the average person seeking mediation is usually seeking refuge from something else in their life, and are looking to receive a specific gain from practicing. It only makes sense that one would want to have the assurance that their efforts are going to make a difference for their particular matter at hand.
Breathe. We’ve got the news. The truth is, all meditation makes a difference. The difference may not always be noticeable, or immediate, but it is there, nonetheless.
You cannot go wrong by taking time to separate yourself from your worldly troubles, even if its three minutes of you attempting to keep your eyes closed while chanting OM, rethinking your grocery list, and feeling a lot less than zen. Meditation is a practice, and life is the game. Think of the various types as avenues that all lead to a better place.
Now, what is the best strategy for you? What style of meditation is calling you, just as you’ve been calling it?
